NOTE: Hey Guys and Gals, Updated 10/27/09
TAG Tennis official practices are over for the winter season. This does not mean that we won't be getting together to play. We are going to try to meet on Sunday's after Brunch at 2pm at the TJC courts on Palmer and Devine. This is not a formal practice so I would recommend replying all to this email to see if anyone is interested in playing. I will be out of town for the next 2 practices but incourge everyone to try to play.
Otherwise, have a great winter/holiday season and we'll see you in the spring.
Thanks for a good year!
scott
(TAG Tennis is moving to Wednesday nights starting September 2nd! Same time (6pm to 8pm), Same Place (Pollard Park Tennis Courts closest to the backboard). Hey Guys and Gals!!
It's hot outside! And to keep TAG Tennis from melting in the hot Texas sun, we've adjusted the start time from 5 to [size=200]6pm. So come out every Tuesday night to Pollard Park* from 6pm to 8pm to have some fun, learn technique and get some exercise to boot! There is something for all levels of play including a ball machine, bucket of balls, extra rackets, and ICE WATER. The group usually plays on the courts closest to the backboard, so park at the church on the opposite side of the courts from the park's parking lot. Most players are beginner to intermediate so don't be scared to come out and give it a try...who knows, you could be the next Venus or Serena! Also, if you haven't already done so, go to www.tridd.com, click the Join Here button, become an official member of Project TAG, and let us know what we can do for you and what you want for your community. That way you can enjoy all that Project TAG has to offer. And don't forget volunteers and donations are always welcome.
