Tyler HIV support group

Get to know our larger community. Smith County alone plays host to some 2,400 HIV+ citizens... and that means you're not alone! Chances are that there are people out there who know what you're going through.

Tyler HIV support group

Hey, everyone... we're making great progress in forming our own HIV support group. Tyler AIDS Services (TAS) has agreed to offer their facility for our use for up to one or two 2-hour sessions per week. All we have to do is pick a time that works best for us.

It has been suggested that we could have two different weekly meeting times - one in the daytime, and another in the evening. This may split us into two groups, but it would also most likely give more people an opportunity to participate.

This group may be "unsupervised," or it may have a counsellor present. Stay tuned for some potentially exciting news!

All we have left is to vote on the times we'd like to have it.

Personally, I'm going to cast my vote for the 10-noon time slot, Tues, Wed or Thurs -- but I'm also flexible. What do you think?

How many people would come to an evening session... say, 5:30-7:00 p.m.?
