My partner and I have been together almost 9 years and we have two amazing children; Charley age 4 1/2 and John-Avery almost 3. We live just outside of Tyler and spend a great deal of time "in town". Hehe! We are VERY family oriented as my mother also lives with us... she happens to be a young 60 :)

I work full time for the state as a vocational rehabilitation counselor and I am getting my PhD in Psychology; get to start my dissertation in June of 2008!!!!! WOOHOO!!!! We are very blessed that my partner gets to stay home with our 2 children and we have been able to avoid daycare. And for us... YAY!

Our long term goals as a family is knowledge: to learn as much as we can about people, places and diversity... We rarely drink, do not smoke and refrain from using such words as stupid.... as Charley will GASP!!!!! :) We do not discriminate against those who do. hehe!

I am very glad to be here and can't wait to meet you all!

Hi Sherry! I'm glad you are here too!
Each time a man stands for an idea, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends a tiny ripple of hope. Those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance.
