MEMBERSHIP IN EAST TEXAS PFLAG

Membership dues in East Texas PFLAG provide resources and support to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people and their families and friends in East Texas. We serve a large area of the state with our nearest PFLAG chapter neighbors located in Dallas, Waco, and Bryan. So that leaves ALL of East Texas for our chapter to serve. It is not at all unusual to receive calls for help from individuals in Texarkana!

Our ability to make a difference is limited only by our resources. Last year 22 family units joined our organization and provided the necessary funds to cover the cost of our PFLAG phone, supplies, and cost of participation in the Dallas pride parade. We need you with us this year to help strengthen and expand PFLAG's unique programs of support, education and advocacy. Your membership dues make it possible for East Texas PFLAG to stand up for equality, fairness and justice wherever and whenever they're threatened. We are working to defend and expand the rights of the GLBT community in East Texas. With you by our side, we can make a difference.

The fiscal year for our national PFLAG organization began October 1 so it is time for East Texas PFLAG to send them their 50% share of our $30 dues (per family unit). We would appreciate your printing and completing the attached membership form and mailing it, along with your check for $30, to the address indicated on the form.
