Love At GroundZero!*@&#^#%$+=
(the ramblings of one of the injured)

from birth we were meant to be together
although we have never met
i wonder what you look like
your taste in music
are we the same age
what color is your hair
are your eyes blue like mine
so many questions unanswered
this seperation has been hard
for so long we have waited
a modern day romeo and romeo
of the house of montague and capulet
each house fighting to keep us seperate
the misfortunes I have suffered
my body torn and broken
this war has not been easy
have you weathered any better
we have been innocennt lovers
embrawled in a bitter fight for our rights
tell me they have not killed you off yet
because i refuse to die
the lives i have lived just to be with you
are we still suitable for one another
or have they made it impossible
one way or another time will tell
till then we will continue to live seperate lives

Holden.

A very lovely, moving, touching pome! The unknown lover to the unknown beloved separated by chance & pain & suffering is simply a marvelous emotional & intellectual ordering of meaning. The "romeo and romeo" at once delightful & heartrending--fate then trumped by the refusal to die in order to live with the not yet met beloved is a real tour de force. Thanks so much for this gem.

Awesome writing, Holden. You seem to want this really badly.

Why not go after what you want and appear to be yearning for? Not really trying to be critical here, honest. I'd really hate to see you rely on "time" alone, though. Personally, that's the one thing I feel like I don't have.

Just my $0.02,

Ox

Thank You All for being so kind and for enjoying what I had to say. I am not much of a poet in any true sense but I am happy that you all could see through that to what I had to say.

Ox-

You are not being critical here, you are just being an honest and caring friend who I appreciate and care so much for. As for wanting this really badly, well after my last fairy tail ever after I am not so sure about going that far  but yeah, I want to be able to feel someone's arms around me each night again.

As for time goes, well I am an ornery cuss, that will live to be 100 years old. Whether or not my body agrees wit my mind..who knows.

We all have to have faith about time and love and all the other big uncertainties in life.

If it doesn't happen I will be fine, if I can't let someone else in again, I will succeed in another area.
The possibilities all lie within me.

Bottom line is I can't let time or love or any disease scare me and have control of my life!

Love You All~
