I'm starting this thread so people can begin to plan their carpools and coordinate getting together for the Sept 21st Pride Parade in Dallas,TX.

Whether you're looking for a ride, or plan to drive and have extra space, just reply to this thread to get together.

Also - for those who are interested, Brad plans to take the float down a day early, and spend the day at Six Flags' "Gay Day." The plan will be to stay the nigt & be there bright & early to start parade prep. If you're interested in joining Brad, please email him at

We plan on attending the parade but will actually be staying the night on Sunday instead of Saturday.

Since Project TAG has planned to attend Six Flags prior to the Pride Parade in Dallas, I thought I would give you a heads up and maybe you could pass on the information to anyone I do not have e-mails for. In this weeks Brookshires ad, it states that the last day to by discount tickets at $29.99 will be Sept 8th. However, I also believe I read on the side of a Coke Can that you can use it to get in through Sept 28th for the same price !

I plan to attend the parade and I also wanted to let everyone know that I have reserved a room at the La Quinta Inn at Central Expressway and Fitzhugh for Saturday night. The room has 2 queen size beds and a sleeper sofa. If you would like to 'crash' after a day at Six Flags and before the parade, let me know. The hotel is about 3 miles from the parade staging area.

I just wanted everyone to know I have at least 4 extra Coke cans so you can get into Six Flaggs from $29.99. Let me know if you need one !
