EAST TEXAS PFLAG MINUTES
Monday, April 13, 2009
The meeting was called to order at 7:20 pm. by Lou Anne due to the absence of our president, Brad.
We met at the Tyler Unity Center with nine in attendance. The minutes were approved as sent out to everyone. Lou Anne gave our current balance of $1,299.45.
Old Business:
The Adopt-A-Highway project was brought up and Troy explained that the Project TAG organization deliberately organized under “Tyler Area Gays” so that we can place that name on the highway sign. Lou Anne was directed to start the paperwork under that name. The consensus of the group was continued approval for this project.
Program:
We had an Open Forum tonight with each attendee invited to tell their story. Much interesting discussion was generated and all enjoyed the evening very much.
Adjournment:
We adjourned at 8:20 pm.
